Dr Narayan Savant was born in beautiful costal city Karwar in Karnataka State, India on 29-12-1952 to Smt Shanta Bai and Shri Mukund Savant as their fifth child. His father was in the police department and his mother was house wife.

As he grew up, his mother taught him Ayurveda. Both his parents were keen on social service and well known for their hospitality and traditional upbringing.

The demise of his father at an early age pushed his family to poverty, he could not get proper medical attention while suffering from typhoid. At that moment he determined to become a doctor and serve the needy when he grew up. His ambition was fulfilled when he learnt Homoeopathy under the guidance of a German Homoeopath, Dr Swami Narayani.

His spiritual Journey began at the age of 9, under the guidance of His Holiness Paramahamsa Shri Maharashtra Swamiji (also known as Shri Govinda Padacharyaji), who taught him ancient methods of diagnosing the patients. His Sadhana started after he received Mantropadesh at the age of 11. He was taught the secrets of traditional, spiritual and universal consciousness and Indian culture.

He joined Indian Telephone Industries, Bengaluru in 1977. Same year he started medical service in a small room. He spent most of his salary to purchase the medicines for the patients who came to him for treatment. As patients increased he found it very difficult to arrange for the required medicine.

In order to save money for the medicines he took up Bramhacharya, gave up all the worldly pleasures and consumed one meal a day. The already cured patients voluntarily came forward with a helping hand in his home clinic.

Appreciating the selfless service rendered and also seeing the difficulties faced by Dr. Narayan M Savant many of his patients, colleagues and friends came forward with the responsibility of looking after his day to day needs so that his ambition to serve the needy was not hindered.

He has cured patients suffering from dreaded diseases when they had lost hope and bought back joy in their life.

He has also done research in the field of Homeopathy medicine and also has created his own combinations of medicine.

In 1985, he started meditation classes for the spiritual seekers. Since then he has personally conducted more than 1000 meditation classes and trained over 80000 persons in Bangalore, Karwar, Yellapur, Gujrat, Delhi and abroad.
